Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the Hydat Emotional IQ website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not access our services.

Our services are educational and developmental in nature. They are not therapy, mental health treatment, or medical services. If you are experiencing mental health issues, crisis, or require therapeutic intervention, please consult a licensed mental health professional.

While emotional intelligence development can support overall wellbeing, it is not a substitute for professional mental health care, addiction treatment, or medical intervention.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use our services. By enrolling in our programs, you represent that you meet these requirements.

Enrollment and Payment

Program Enrollment

Enrollment in our programs is subject to availability and acceptance. We reserve the right to decline enrollment to anyone for any reason.

Fees and Payment

Program fees are stated in Singapore Dollars (SGD) and must be paid according to the agreed payment schedule. Payment may be required in full or in installments depending on the program.

Refund Policy

Full refund is available if you withdraw within 7 days of enrollment and before your second session. After this period, fees are non-refundable. However, you may:

• Pause your program for up to 3 months
• Transfer to a different program of equal or greater value
• Transfer your enrollment to another person (subject to approval)

Price Changes

We reserve the right to modify program prices at any time. Price changes do not affect enrollments already in progress.

Your Responsibilities

Participation

You agree to:

• Attend scheduled sessions or notify us in advance of absences
• Complete assigned practice and development work
• Engage honestly and in good faith with the development process
• Respect facilitators, staff, and other participants

Cancellation and Rescheduling

If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, please provide at least 24 hours notice. Late cancellations or no-shows may be counted as completed sessions.

Truthful Information

You agree to provide accurate information during enrollment and throughout your participation. This includes disclosing any conditions that might affect your ability to participate safely and effectively.

Confidentiality

Our Confidentiality Obligation

Information you share during programs and sessions is treated as confidential. We will not disclose your information except:

• With your explicit written consent
• When required by law
• When there is imminent risk of harm to you or others
• In anonymized form for program improvement or research

Group Program Confidentiality

In group programs, all participants are expected to maintain confidentiality regarding other participants' personal information and disclosures. We cannot guarantee that other participants will maintain confidentiality.

Intellectual Property

Our Content

All content provided through our programs, including materials, exercises, assessments, and methodologies, is protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights. You may not:

• Reproduce or distribute our materials without permission
• Use our methodologies in commercial offerings
• Claim our content as your own

Your Personal Use

You may use materials provided during your program for your personal development. If you wish to use our content in professional or commercial contexts, contact us for licensing arrangements.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the fees you paid for the specific program
• We are not responsible for outcomes or results from your participation

You acknowledge that personal development involves effort, discomfort, and risk. Results vary and depend on many factors beyond our control.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Hydat Emotional IQ, its facilitators, and staff from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

• Your violation of these terms
• Your violation of any rights of another party
• Your misuse of our services or materials

Termination

By You

You may terminate your participation at any time. Refunds are subject to the refund policy stated above.

By Us

We may terminate your participation immediately if you:

• Violate these terms
• Engage in disruptive or harmful behavior
• Fail to pay required fees
• Provide false information

In cases of termination by us for cause, no refund will be provided.

Privacy and Data Protection

Our collection and use of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy and GDPR compliance statement. By using our services, you also agree to those policies.

Communications

By enrolling in our programs, you consent to receive communications from us regarding:
